What to expect
Your bridal price includes a consultation, because the worst thing on a wedding morning is a face you don’t recognise. We talk through your dress, your flowers, the light, how you normally wear make-up and how much you actually want to look like yourself.
I can come to your venue or you can come to me at Follano’s. If I travel there’s an additional call-out charge, quoted honestly up front.
Who it’s for
Brides and their parties, anyone with an event or a photoshoot, and people who’ve worn the same face since the nineties and fancy learning something new.
Booking a wedding
- Get in touch as early as you can. Saturdays go first
- Tell me how many faces in total, including mums and bridesmaids
- Bring inspiration pictures, but also tell me what you hate
- I’ll be honest if something won’t photograph well
Make-up lessons
We use your own make-up bag, not mine. There’s no point teaching you a look you can’t recreate on a Tuesday morning. Popular as a gift.

Before you book
How far in advance should I book bridal make-up?
As early as you can, particularly for Saturdays in summer. Once you have a date it’s worth getting in touch even if nothing else is decided.
Is a trial included?
Your bridal price includes a consultation so we can plan the look properly. Talk to me about a full trial when you book and I’ll tell you what I’d recommend.
Will you come to my venue?
Yes. There’s an additional call-out charge on top of the make-up price, and I’ll quote it clearly before you commit.
Do I need to bring anything to a make-up lesson?
Your own make-up bag, everything you currently use, including the things you never get on with. We work with what you own so you can repeat it at home.
