How I handle your information, in plain English. Last updated 28 August 2026.
The short version
I’m a one-person beauty salon. I collect the least I can get away with, I don’t sell anything to anybody, and if you want me to delete what I hold, just ask and I will.
Who I am

What I collect through this website
If you send an enquiry: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, the treatment you’re asking about, and whatever you write in the message box.
If you sign up for updates: your email address, and nothing else.
Automatically: anonymous statistics about how many people visit and which pages they read. This does not identify you and does not follow you around other websites.
That is the lot. There is no online booking and no online payment, so this website never sees card details.
Why I use it, and what allows me to
- To answer your enquiry. I need your details to reply to you. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: you asked me a question and would reasonably expect an answer.
- To send you updates, if you signed up. The lawful basis is consent, and you can withdraw it whenever you like.
- To understand how the site is used, using anonymous statistics only. The lawful basis is legitimate interests.
Who else sees it
My website is hosted by Netlify, and enquiries sent through the form pass through them on the way to my email. My email is Google (Gmail). Anonymous visitor statistics are collected by Cloudflare, which does not use cookies and does not identify you. Those companies process the information on my behalf, and none of them is allowed to use it for anything of their own.
I do not sell your information, share it for advertising, or pass it to anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long I keep it
Enquiries stay in my email for up to two years, so I have a record of what we discussed if you come back. Newsletter sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe. Anonymous website statistics are kept for up to two years.
Your treatment records
Separately from this website, I keep consultation and patch-test records for clients I treat. I have to: my insurer and professional standards require it, and it keeps you safe. Those records are kept securely, are not held on this website, and are never shared for marketing.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and there is no cookie pop-up because there is nothing to consent to. The visitor statistics I use are anonymous and do not store anything on your device to identify you.
Your rights
You can ask me to show you what I hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. You can also withdraw consent for updates at any time. Just email nuyuletchworth@gmail.com and I’ll sort it, normally within a few days and always within a month.
If you think I’ve got something wrong, please tell me first and I’ll try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
If I change how I handle information I’ll update this page and change the date at the top.
