What to expect
Shaping, cuticle work and a proper finish rather than a quick colour change. If you’re having gels, they go on to last, usually two to three weeks before regrowth starts to show.
I use OPI. If you’re coming in with gels applied elsewhere, I’ll soak them off properly rather than lifting them.

Anyone who wants their nails to last, and anyone whose nails have been left thin and sore by picking gels off. If yours need a break, book the soak off and nail treatment and I’ll get them back into condition.
Making them last
- Cuticle oil daily makes more difference than anything else you can do
- Gloves for cleaning and washing up, the biggest cause of early lifting
- Book removal with me rather than picking them off at home
- Rebook at two to three weeks, before regrowth gets awkward

Before you book
How long do OPI gel nails last?
Usually two to three weeks before regrowth starts to show. Gloves for cleaning and daily cuticle oil genuinely extend the life of them.
Can you remove gels applied somewhere else?
Yes. Book the soak off and OPI nails if you want them redone, or the soak off and nail treatment at £15 if your nails need a rest.
Do gel nails damage your nails?
Not when they’re applied and removed properly. Damage almost always comes from picking or peeling them off, which is why I’d rather you came in for a proper soak off.
